A movement of cross-party MPs from across the UK backed a Govt motion to ban plastic gum. A sign that Govt are listening to the Nuudist movement calling for action on chewy plastic hidden in gum.

Campaign spotlights Microplastics from gum

Poisoned by Plastic was a collaborative campaign between Nuud and Kids Against Plastic to highlight that over 250,000 microplastics can be released into your mouth from a single piece of chewing gum.

The campaign was later supported by key MPs taking the issue to Parliament and made a feature on national TV.

Our story begins...

Our Founder, Keir, was wandering supermarket aisles when he discovered most chewing gum is pumped full of hidden plastic. Soon after, Nuud was born... Plastic-free, plant-based, and on a mission to rid the world of chewy plastic.
